Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono called for a review of
the controversial state secrecy bill on 15 September 2009, saying that
the law should not harm his countrymen's rights, media reports said.
"The Jakarta Post" quoted the president as saying that Indonesia should
achieve the balance of safeguarding its national security at the same
time protecting the principles of freedom.
